New e17 Theme Section 'Borders'

As you might know it's very time expensive to create a theme for e17. Enlightenment allows to mix themes and also to create themes for single parts of e - like borders. GET-E.org does now have a new section for these border themes. The theme files do only theme the borders, so you need to select them in the advanced theme dialog and assign them to the theme category 'borders'. As a first start Tom 'Toma-' Haste, one of our most active themers has created three little themes. Maybe you like the idea and create your own? Get them while they're hot! :)

sda has updated the plain edje e17 theme 'Simplicity' to version 0.16.999.043-1:

settled more or less proper display variant of window border menu... (slightly changed for E-DR17-16.999.043)
changed look of 'checkbox' and 'radio' buttons.
licenced under GPL :) (seems that E17 and ETK both work as they should and there's no need for CC any more)

He also updated the matching ETK theme to version alpha2:

Also the etk theme '23Oz' has been updated to version alpha2_2:

'entry' prompt is rewritten
various improvements (just can't remenber exactly... bunch of small fixes, adoption fot OpenBSD I guess...)

Tom (Toma-) Haste has updated the e17 theme 'Edgy' to version 2.0:

Code clean up
Fixed move/resize
System logout boxes fixed
Totally rewritten in edje color_classes to make re-colouring a lot easier.

Because of the new edje color_classes he use in his theme, he released a color changed version too: Edgy-B (black).

Updated e17 Theme 'Crude'

deadbum has updated the 'Crude' theme to version 1.2 . He made the close, maximize and minimize buttons slightly more glossy and changed the lighting direction. Thanks! :)

Today i present you a huge update...

e17 theme 'Simplicity' alpha4 by sda:

dialog 'Enlightenment -> About' modified
default 'folder' and 'file' icons are modified (any design ideas are welcome)
borders added to the scrollbars (like in gtk 'Clearlooks' theme)
diminished border sizes from 5 pixels (left, right, bottom) to 3, diminished titlebar margins

e17 theme 'cthulhain' 0.4.5 by Jason 'slackd00d' Edson:

Fixed some code in the pager, winlist and other little improvements.
Also went back to the old titlebar.

e17 theme 'Night Bling' 0.45 by David 'hesperaux' Bieber:

fixed slider directions
fixed bug with the frame widget causing echo no to move sliders
gadman popup is now black

e17 theme 'Camou' 0.35 by roxville:

revamped border code: buttons will now resize on font size changes
added a new border style featuring an additional button to lower the window
bg image is a bit smoother now

e17 theme 'Simply White' 0.8.7 by Simon 'Jf_Simon' T:

add skip icon taskbar to the window menu
add support for the tastbar module
some changes at the wlan module
...also the single wlan module theme has been updated...

e17 theme 'Steampunk' 0.9 by Andrew Stack has got a very huge(!) update:

Fixed draw error on border image on the configuration, desktop change popup and other dialogs.
Themed the temperature, screenshot, mem, and net widgets.
Changed the border around the clock to match the other widgets.
Changed the fonts in a bunch of places to give a consistent look and made the size 12 point.
Fixed the text entry field so it stays lit while mouse is over and doesn't flicker any more.
Cleaned up the "about" windows.
Changed the vertical shelf so the light source is consistent for all shelf orientations.
Blurred the edges on the horizontal shelf so it looks a little more seamless.
Removed some unnecessary images and shrank a few others to keep the file size down.

There where also a few new themes created...

e17 theme 'Edjy' 1.0 by Tom (Toma-) Haste, which is completly written in plain edje!
e17 theme 'Crude' 1.1 by deadbum, which is a very dark theme especially created for use with e17/ecomorph!

Updated e17 Theme 'Camou'

The military e17 theme 'Camou' by mathmanp has been updated to version 0.3:

changed clock theme to an analog radar style clock
added tclock theme
added toolbar theme
fixed slider
new shelf styles
removed disfuctional fadeout border style
minor colour fixes
about dialog now loads in reasonable time
removed not natively themed group code and pics
used image compression to reduce size

Wow, huge changes! Check it out! :)

New GTK2 Theme 'e17-Bling'

As some of you might know there is a GTK2 theme which match the e17 default theme 'Bling Bling' laying at gnome-look.org since 2006. As i couldn't get in contact with the author i just put that theme on our new GTK2 themes section. It is without any updates since a long time so if someone is interested to adopt it, please go for it.

As Tom (Toma-) Haste has created a nice matching GTK2 theme for his popular e17 theme 'Fireball', there was a need for a new Toolkits section. We now host GTK2, QT, {...} themes - if they where created to match a e17 theme. Enjoy! :)

Updated e17 Theme 'Night Bling'

Paul Koether has updated the dark version modification of 'Bling Bling' theme 'Night Bling' to version 0.4. He fixed fileman and buttons and brought the whole theme up to date.

Eet 1.0.0 Release and two new great e17 Modules

Carsten 'rasterman' Haitzler released Eet 1.0.0 . It should be bugfree and stable. For more infos, check enlightenment.org.
Michael Stapelberg has created a tiling module for e17. It allows to use e17 the same way as ion. Check the anouncement message from the dev-ml to get more informations about download and usage.
Dave Andreoli created a gadman module, which allows to place shelf modules everywhere on your desktop. This has been wished by users since the old gadman was replaced by the shelf, so hopefully it's get stable and integrated into e.
